Arjun gets into some serious trouble when he beats Gajender Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) to protect his girlfriend in distress, Radhika (Sonakshi Sinha) who is leaving for Delhi then for US because she doesn’t want to marry Gajender Singh.

Ganjender Singh is a local politician and is smitten by Radhika’s beauty so much that he wishes to marry her without her agreement. There is nothing new in the movie story is repitative.

It is a regurgitation of a Telugu hit from 2003 (the Mahesh Babu starrer Okkadu ), but what worked back then can only look utterly old-fashioned and laboured in 2014.  Amit Sharma has adapted the same story with some changes in the screenplay to impress the Hindi audience.

Performances: Arjun Kapoor nails it with his Pintoo performance. He shows the ‘Tevar’ required for his character and impresses us all. Manoj Bajpayee is brilliant as crazy and irritating lover. Sonakshi looked beautiful and acted well.

Music: The music of Tevar has given by Sajid-Wajid, Superman’ is quintessential fan boy song that pays tribute to Salman Khan and it is entertaining.

The next track, Radha nachegi has a pleasant beginning and sounds promising with its sitar interlude. It even holds up when the electric guitar takes over. Overall the music is good but not upto the expactations which Sajid-Wajid promises.
