Story: Total Siyapaa is total madness. An audacious comedy that dares to poke fun at a border issue, Set in London, where Indians and Pakistanis getting together is not exactly unheard of, Aman (Ali Zafar) and Asha (Yami Gautam) decide to break the “bad news” to her Punjabi parents.
Asha’s family goes crazy when they come to know that Aman is a Pakistani national. Her grand dad is an ex-army officer, who went to war against Pakistan and loves roaming in the house with his rifle. Just when you feel the movie would go to another level, it doesn’t.
In attempting to make every scene funny, the makers have ended up offering us not-so-funny and oh-so-boring film. Watch this only if you are a total fan of Zafar, Gautam and the Khers.
Music:The album is sung and composed by Ali Zafar entertaining soundtrack that gets occasionally marred by composer-writer-hero Ali Zafar’s limitations as a singer.
The title song, along with the quirky lyrics, dialogs and sounds, is good fun. Ali Zafar fares really well in Palat Meri jaan, Nahin Maloom is also captivating song.
All featuring Ali Zafar, save for the duet which also features the vocal styling of Fariha Parvez. Lyrics have been penned by Zafar, Aqeel Rubi and Kumaar.
Performances: Ali Zafar has also done a presentable job but Yami does not groove well into her character. The cast, as mentioned, largely does well for itself with Ali, Kirron and Sara leading the pack.
